About the Ozone Rush 6

The Ozone Rush 6 is the sixth generation of Ozone's flagship intermediate wing, derived directly from the Delta 4 and inheriting development work from the Enzo and Zeno lines. EN B certified, available in six sizes, and aimed at experienced intermediate recreational and XC pilots who fly somewhere around 50 hours a year and beyond.

Aspect ratio is kept moderate (5.7 flat) for passive safety and a fun feel, with the performance gain coming from elsewhere — a reworked 3/2 line layout, additional 3D shaping that splits the leading edge, and tweaks to the panel and trailing-edge / mini-rib construction that knock down parasitic drag. The structure is the strongest Ozone has built in this segment; the profile holds shape under turbulence with no chordwise deformation, helping keep glide and speed consistent in active air. ACR (Active Control Risers), inherited from the Delta 4, act on B and C lines and give a 2-line style angle-of-attack input without distorting the camber — useful in glide. The latest evolution of Ozone's patented SharkNose, paired with G-strings on the leading edge to keep cell openings clean at speed, makes the wing very resistant to accidental spin or stall and tames flutter on bar. Inflation is a notable step up from the Rush 5: light and responsive in nil-wind, no overshoot tendency in stronger conditions. In flight it carries a slightly higher top speed and a more dynamic, Delta-like handling feel than past Rushes, with brakes that are precise early and powerful deeper in the range.

Strengths

  • Significant inflation improvement over the Rush 5 — easy in nil-wind, no overshoot in strong wind
  • ACR risers for AoA control without disturbing profile camber
  • Latest-generation SharkNose + G-strings — clean cell openings on bar, very stall/spin resistant
  • Strongest structure Ozone has put on a Rush — profile holds shape in turbulence
  • Sportier, more dynamic handling than past Rushes while staying inside EN B
