Ozone Buzz Z7

The Ozone Buzz Z7 is the latest generation of Ozone's long-running low-B Buzz line — what they call their "True B" platform — aimed at pilots flying around 30 to 50 hours a year who want a dependable XC wing with the highest passive safety in this segment. Six sizes, 48 cells, 5.15 flat aspect ratio.

The Z7 is a refresh of the platform rather than a clean-sheet design, but most parts of the wing have been touched: a new planform with more sweep for better roll stability, new rib alignment for cleaner airflow, repositioned tabs for stability under bar, a reworked leading edge with extra reinforcement and a cleaner profile, new line rigging that distributes load better for sharper agility, and reshaped trailing-edge panels for crisper brake response. The brake feel is more linear and direct than past Buzzes, top speed is up, and glide on bar is improved. Sail weight is unchanged — light enough to keep the Buzz's easy inflation in any conditions — and the leading-edge reinforcement also kills flutter at top speed and makes accelerated flight more efficient. Lower lines are now fully sheathed and colour-coordinated, the new risers simplify launch prep.
