About Swing Sting RS
A dual-purpose paramotor and free-flight wing with RAST, suitable primarily for foot launch and carrying paraglider type approval, so it works from training through licensed pleasure and XC flying, on the flatlands or on vacation in the mountains and coast. The accelerator travel can be limited in a few steps to make it a fully trainable A-wing, then the limiter comes off to give B-class performance, with ball-bearing pulleys for long glides. RAST splits the canopy into CORE and BUFFER sections: on pressure loss the CORE holds relative pressure while the BUFFER absorbs energy by deforming, and it stiffens the construction so some reinforcements can be reduced or replaced. Here it's tuned for easy, even wind-in behaviour with no overshoot or lever-out tendency, and maximum stability and control for less experienced pilots in turbulent air. Nitinol nose reinforcement runs inside nylon tubes to increase the contact surface with the topsail while keeping the buckling resistance and shape stability, so the leading edge stays dimensionally stable and resists wear. Mini ribs halve the cell spacing at the trailing edge to cut ballooning, with their seams on the inside of the upper sail so threads can't snag and pull out on rough ground.
