Lighter version of the MIURA 2 RS entry-level wing, around 1000g lighter and more compact through a clever material mix, with hike & fly potential. 48 cells and a wide speed range, built as a full performance wing but still meeting school glider standards with moderate accelerator use. Long, well-tuned brake range and high canopy stability for the learning phase. Certified twice: as a base intermediate B, and as an A class beginner wing when flown with the reduced speed system. The self-installable Speed Limiter switches between A and B whenever needed, and comes off just as easily. RAST divides the canopy into pressure sections for control and feedback, also working as extra support to the leading and trailing edge and as a stiffener that can replace reinforcements. Optimized A-line geometry for calmer air in turbulence, refined intakes for more stable accelerated flight, reduced wing sweep with new brake layout for more direct handling, tuned canopy curvature for controllable spirals. Accelerator pulleys run on ball bearings for tiring-free glides. Nitinol leading edge reinforcements sit in nylon tubes, growing the cross-section and contact surface for the top sail while keeping bend resistance and shape stability.
