About Phi SCALA light 2
SCALA 2 light: a high-aspect-ratio EN-C for hike and fly races like the Red Bull X-Alps, the evolution of the first SCALA light. The stand-out is a very stable airfoil, one that pays off more the rougher it gets, which is what you want when you're tired and racing. Reworked rigging now allows big ears, takes higher load in the bigger sizes and holds form better. Optimised ballooning, and reworked rod length, shape and number. New riser and line attachment system gives more control at max speed. Superlight D10 cloth on the bottom sail, freeing weight for more rods in the top sail.
