About Phi BEAT 2
Successor to the BEAT, sitting in the middle of PHI's bandwidth. Only the outline carries over. Hold it to the light and the new internal construction shows: line suspension points moved, diagonal fingers optimized, different straps with V shaped anchor connections. New intake, new sail cut, rods now on the bottom sail too, and a completely different stabilo. Take off is clearly better and more forgiving, handling is better with higher agility and more defined feedback. Brake and stabilo lines are robust and sheathed, in orange so they stand out on the ground. Weight is down, reactions to extreme maneuvers improved, and the cleaner surface with changed sail tension gives a feelable performance gain.
