Ozone Delta 5

The Ozone Delta 5 is the fifth generation of the Delta line and Ozone's lowest-aspect-ratio 2-liner — derived from the Photon and aimed at being the gentle entry point into 2-line technology. It is certified EN-C with folding lines and targets pilots stepping up from a high-B as well as more experienced flyers who want 2-liner control in a more compact, forgiving package.

Going to two lines gives the Delta 5 direct angle-of-attack control through the C-risers and noticeably less line drag than the 3-line Delta 4, while the lower aspect ratio keeps it compact and tolerant of rough air. Ozone reworked the internal structure for better span cohesion, so the wing absorbs turbulence without losing its shape — useful when conditions get strong. Inflation is easier than on Ozone's higher-aspect 2-liners; the tips do not tend to come up first, it does not overshoot in wind, and it rises cleanly in nil-wind launches. Brake input is precise with strong roll and yaw authority, but travel stays long enough to handle deep inputs in thermals or on landing approach. Big ears can be done with either AR3 (firm pull, very stable once in) or BR3 (easier to initiate, faster to recover). Risers are new, with adjustable B-handle height for different pilot sizes.
