Ozone Photon

The Ozone Photon is a sport-class 2-liner positioned as the missing link between traditional 3-line EN C wings and full-on high-performance ships like the Zeno 2 and Enzo 3. It is certified EN C, available in six sizes, and aimed at experienced sport pilots who already have time on EN C wings and recent SIV under their belt.

The Photon was derived from the Zeno 2 with a slightly lower aspect ratio, a more moderate cell count, and a more inherently stable profile. Ozone increased the arc to improve comfort and handling, then added winglets to claw back the roll stability and spiral behavior the deeper arc would otherwise cost. The result is the most accessible 2-liner they have built — direct AoA control through the rear risers, intuitive C-riser steering, and the span- and chord-wise sail cohesion that keeps the wing feeling compact and solid through the whole speed range. Glide is in the neighborhood of the Zeno 2 but easier to extract thanks to the lower AR and better cohesion. Top speed is the highest of any EN C Ozone has built — past the Delta 4, the Mantra 7 and the Zeolite, and only marginally behind the Zeno 2 — and it stays comfortable at those speeds. In-house collapse testing puts side and frontal recovery behavior in the same ballpark as the Delta 4.
