About UP Makalu 5
Low-B (EN/LTF B) from UP, developed alongside the RIMO 2, with a reworked profile. Better glide and more top speed than its predecessor. D30 cloth, Skytex 40 Hard Finish in the internal structure. Lines sort easily, launches are easy, and thermals are easy to feel and core. Roll damping keeps it calm in bumpy air and collapses stay manageable, a sensible step up from an A. Still enough for real XC (Stefan Bocks flew 221 km on one), sizes cover 65 to 130 kg.
