Coming from the old EZ 9 or 12 (or 7.5), you get a more balanced shape, easier launch and rise, and handling that is more progressive and more precise. Agile enough to dive into the cracks and follow terrain closely, with consistent feedback from the wing. Close the redesigned trims and there is enough glide to cruise the flatter parts of your line. Also at home soaring dunes in very strong wind. Expert pilots only: around wing load 5 you need miniwing experience, at 7 and up expect much higher speeds and much bigger height loss in turns.
