Advance Progress 3

The Advance Progress 3 is a reversible solo harness — a fully working flying harness that converts into a 75–90 L rucksack. Three sizes covering 155–202 cm pilot height, weights from 3.3 to 3.9 kg, EN & LTF certified to 120 kg max load. Built around an Air-Foam Hybrid Protector that combines foam ribbing with self-inflation, plus 3D-developed seat geometry that fits the pilot without using a seat board.

The Air-Foam Hybrid Protector is the headline safety feature: foam ribbing inside the protector takes shape and self-inflates within about 60 seconds of the rucksack being reversed into a harness — protection is online before take-off without a separate procedure. The protector lives in its own compartment under the seat shell for maintenance, and Advance recommend not storing it compressed for long periods or while wet, to maximise lifespan. The reserve sits inside the protector under the pilot's seat — moved from behind the small of the back where the Progress 2 carried it, which improves reserve geometry and rides better in flight. The seat itself is 3D-modelled and uses no seat board: enhanced and lengthened legpads, with individually adjustable lower-back support, give precise weight-shift response and a comfortable hold without the bulk of a board. As a rucksack, the Progress 3 carries on well-fitting shoulder straps and a breathable mesh back panel — sized at 90 L (L), 80 L (M) or 75 L (S) so wing and full kit fit cleanly. A carbon speedbar comes included, with Ronstan ball-bearing pulleys ready-mounted; an optional certified footrest is available with its own matching "Soft" speed bar.
