BGD Dual 3

The BGD Dual 3 is a clean-sheet redesign of BGD's tandem platform — three sizes (38, 41, 43), 53 cells, 5.45 flat aspect ratio, EN/LTF B certified, certified take-off weight up to 239 kg in the largest size. Targeted at both professional commercial tandem pilots and passionate privateers, with a streamlined, lightweight construction (7.0–7.6 kg) that keeps pack volume down for daily operations.

The redesign aims for solo-wing-like flight characteristics under tandem load: better climb in weak thermals, better glide, and sharper, more precise handling than the previous Dual generations — without giving up the ease and comfort BGD's tandems are known for. Launch is effortless even with a heavier passenger, and the wing climbs cleanly in weak air, which matters for keeping commercial operations going through marginal conditions. Riser layout is 3/3/4/2 main lines. Speed range is enhanced over the predecessor — useful for getting back to the LZ in stronger wind. Optional coloured undersurface at no extra cost (5–8 weeks added delivery time).
