Niviuk Arrow P 2

The Niviuk Arrow P 2 is the second generation of Niviuk's lightweight hike & fly pod — three sizes covering 160–195 cm pilot height, weights from 1.76 to 1.99 kg depending on size and protector choice (inflatable Apair or foam), 120 kg max load, EN certified. Aimed at demanding hike & fly and vol-biv pilots who want a real pod harness that still drops into a 50 L pack alongside the rest of their kit.

The pod itself is built from D70 — light but durable — with Lycra Light in stretchy areas and an inflatable fairing that pairs Skytex 27 g inside with Dokdo 36 g outside. Internal components were rebuilt with lighter and tougher fabrics this generation, increasing strength without adding weight. Comfort comes from the 3D-shaped ergonomic seat that moulds to the pilot, paired with a triangulation system that absorbs excess movement transmitted through the wing — particularly noticeable on bar, where the harness stays stable instead of jittering. The aerodynamic fairing reduces drag and improves yaw stability, which makes the harness feel more precise as well as faster. Storage is well thought out for multi-day use: 17–20 L back pocket, 4–5 L underseat pocket, 6–7 L nose pocket, dual cockpit pockets and a 1.8–5.5 L rescue compartment. Pack volume drops further if you go with the Apair inflatable protector instead of foam.
