Davinci Gliders Classic 2
Informazioni su Davinci Gliders Classic 2
The Davinci Classic 2 is positioned as a wing with EN B class performance but EN A certification across all sizes — 48 cells (38 open / 10 closed at the tips), 5.1 flat aspect ratio, four sizes covering 60–120 kg. The configuration that lets the wing pass EN A in all sizes despite the higher performance target is Davinci's patented Smart Double Layer (SDL) System.
SDL puts a double layer in the four centre cells: when the wing collapses, the second layer frees up internal volume and creates a strong counter-pressure that drives quick re-inflation — Davinci's explanation for why the wing keeps EN A behaviour despite the more aggressive EN B-class glide and speed targets. The wing also carries SN+ (Smart Nose Plus), SNI (Smart Nose Intakes), TMR (Trailing-edge Mini Ribs), OPS (Optimized Profile Stress) and DOP (Dust Out Pocket). Long brake travel, sporty but progressive handling and an efficient speed system make this a usable wing for first XC flights as well as continued school use after solo. Davinci's pilot-suitability chart puts Classic 2 at 96% school / 84% XC / 63% fun flying / 50% ground handling. Speed-bar travel is 100 mm in XS and 120 mm in larger sizes.
Punti di forza
- Smart Double Layer (SDL) system — patented quick-recovery feature in centre cells
- EN B-class performance target (glide and speed) inside an EN A certification across all sizes
- Long brake travel and progressive handling — accessible for school use, capable enough for XC
- Closed wingtip cells (10 of 48) — cleaner tip pressure distribution
- Four sizes covering 60–120 kg with extended take-off weight bands
- Efficient speed system relative to typical EN A wings
