Woody Valley X-Rated 7

The Woody Valley X-Rated 7 is the seventh generation of Woody Valley's top competition pod — three sizes covering pilot heights from under 169 cm to over 180 cm, weights from 7.1 to 8.5 kg, LTF certified (EAPR-GZ-0541/16). Built around a carbon seat plate, a 14 cm diameter foam protector, and the Get-Up closing strap with T-Lock system. Twin under-seat reserve compartments take 4000–10 000 cm³ across the certified rescue size range.

Design philosophy is a complete rebuild rather than refinement: Woody Valley describe targeted upgrades to handling, aerodynamics, and comfort, with a deliberate focus on integrating the latest technology in each area. The carbon seat plate scales by size — 25.8 × 23.3 × 32.5 cm in M to 29.7 × 26.8 × 37.4 cm in XL — keeping load distribution clean across pilot heights. Get-Up + T-Lock is the standard Woody Valley anti-forget closure for leg straps, with redundant verification before the harness can be sealed. Twin rescue container layout under the seat covers 4–10 L reserves, with an optional front rescue mount available for two-reserve setups. Ballast capacity is generous: 6.5 L upper plus 6.3–9.8 L lower depending on size — usable for serious XC and competition setup. Karabiner-to-seat distance steps from 47 cm in M to 53.5 cm in XL; karabiner-to-karabiner distance is 40–51 cm across the lineup.
