关于我
I am a general aviation pilot with single engine land and glider ratings. I love to fly but I wanted a more intimate and visceral experience with the sky. So I took up PPG flying. I was 70 years old when I started PPG flying, so I chose to use wheels instead of foot launching. Even though a majority of fliers are foot launchers, I do not regret going with wheels. First of all, no face plants on take-offs and landings; a huge safety consideration if you are over weight, have bad knees or are older and less agile. The second is you can take off and land with zero wind, even at high altitude, where a foot launcher can’t.
