Ozone Lyght
O Ozone Lyght
The Ozone Lyght is the lightweight sibling of the Photon — same EN C 2-line platform, 71 cells and 6.5 flat aspect ratio, but roughly 800 grams lighter per size thanks to a complex internal structure pulled from the Zeolite GT development. Aimed at experienced sport pilots who want big-mountain ready performance without the weight, with prior EN C time and recent SIV behind them.
The weight saving comes from the inside, not from cutting corners on outer cloth: an ultralight internal architecture borrowed from the Zeolite GT keeps the same solidity and rigidity as the Photon while letting Ozone drop sail weight noticeably. Reduced inertia is felt right away — easier inflation, snappier handling, and better behavior in nil-wind launches. In the air the Lyght carries the Photon's playbook: stable profile, strong span- and chord-wise sail cohesion, moderate aspect ratio kept manageable in turbulence, winglets to claw back roll stability under bar. It is a true 2-liner with C-handle / B-riser AoA control, this time on a new adjustable-height B-handle system specifically developed for the Lyght. Performance puts it at the top of EN C — Ozone calls glide on this wing as good as anything they've flown in the class — and top speed sits only marginally behind the Zeno 2. Collapse behavior on side and frontal inputs is in the same ballpark as the Delta 4.
Prednosti
- Roughly 800 g lighter than the Photon — clear win for hike & fly and vol-biv
- Adjustable-height B-handle riser system, designed specifically for this wing
- Same Zeolite-GT-derived internal architecture — solidity preserved despite the weight cut
- Top-of-class EN C glide; top speed just behind the Zeno 2
- Reduced sail inertia — easier inflation and crisper handling than the Photon
