Woody Valley GTO Light 2

The Woody Valley GTO Light 2 is the second generation of Woody Valley's lightweight XC pod — four sizes covering pilot heights from under 170 cm to over 184 cm, weights from 3.11 kg (S with inflatable protector) up to 3.66 kg (XL with foam). EN-LTF certified (EAPR-GZ-0831/18) with the Get-Up closing strap system and an anti-forget mechanism. Aimed at hike & fly and cross-country pilots wanting pod comfort and protection without the weight of a full XC pod.

Big change vs. the original GTO Light: pilots can now choose between a 16 cm foam protector and a new low-volume inflatable protector — the inflatable saves 75–145 g per size compared to the foam, while the foam adds simplicity and full-time protection. Optional Lightshield back protector adds upper-back coverage on top of either choice (TÜV cat. 2). Other generation-2 changes: new ABS system with adjustable harness-stability control (pilots can dial in stability vs. agility), revised harness closing system, sturdier elastic materials, an enhanced rescue handle, and an optional detachable windshield. Three-step speed bar comes included as standard. The reserve container under the seat has a side handle and takes 3000–5000 cm³ reserves. Ballast capacity scales by size: 1 L upper / 3.8–5.7 L lower.
