Swing Nyos RS

The Swing Nyos RS is the comfort-performance high-B XC platform — 61 cells, 5.7 flat aspect ratio, five sizes covering 60–140 kg, EN/LTF B certified. Built around RAST (Swing's patented Rib Air Stop Technology) plus a C-Bridge rear-riser pitch system, with the design brief of bringing full high-B performance to a wider range of pilots through more stability and easier active flying. Trim speed 38 ±1 km/h, top speed 52 ±2 km/h, minimum sink 1.0 m/s. 235+ km FAI triangles flown on the wing in DHV-XC competition.

RAST is the headline technology — Swing's patented internal stop-rib system that compartmentalises the wing's internal airflow, giving notably more stability and control under load and during disturbances. On the Nyos RS the result is full high-B performance with a meaningfully lower pilot workload — Swing's pitch is "effective and relaxed XC flying on hammer days at the highest performance level". The C-Bridge rear-riser pitch system gives efficient AoA control on bar without distorting the canopy. Construction uses Nitinol wires for maximum profile fidelity with minimum weight, mini-ribs at the trailing edge for shape stability, and 3D-shaping at the leading edge to cut wrinkling. Despite Swing positioning the wing as easy to live with for a high-B, the official line is that pilots should still have ~50 hours/year of active flying experience to get the most out of it.
