Niviuk Artik R 2

The Niviuk Artik R 2 is the second-generation 2-liner sport-class wing in the Artik R line — 68 cells, 6.5 flat aspect ratio, six sizes, A-A'/B riser layout, EN/LTF C across the range. The aspect ratio is intentionally moderate for a 2-liner, which is the headline of the redesign: the Artik R 2 is positioned as a much more accessible 2-line wing than peers.

The 2-line architecture is the obvious performance lever — fewer lines means less drag, and Niviuk managed a 2% reduction in total line length over the previous Artik R despite adding four more cells to the platform. The new profile is more pitch-stable than the predecessor, dampening efficiently and cutting through air without losing energy. Light, responsive feel in thermals; B-riser steering is efficient, safe and precise once pilots adapt to it. Combined with the moderate 6.5 aspect ratio and Niviuk's usual technology stack — reinforced internal structure, dual brake configuration, improved DRS integration, TNT Nitinol rods — the wing offers more passive safety than its specs suggest. Speed bar is 160 mm across all sizes; A-A' split for big-ear control. Available in three standard colourways (Neon, Quetzal, Glacier) with optional custom colours and logos at extra cost.
