Niviuk Drifter 2

The Niviuk Drifter 2 is a hybrid competition / XC pod harness — the step between a regular XC pod and a full-on race harness. Three sizes covering 160–195 cm pilot height, weights from 9.3 to 9.8 kg, EN certified to 120 kg max load. Built around aerodynamic CFD work, an Orikami back protector, and a 3D-shaped seat tuned for long flights without losing the feedback you want for racing.

The fairing shape is the result of careful aerodynamic simulations — designed to integrate the pilot's head and shoulders into the airflow and avoid turbulence around them, which gives a measurable performance gain over a classic harness without going to a full inflatable race pod. Back protection is the headline safety feature: Orikami is Niviuk's in-house developed protector tech, claimed as the thinnest and most efficient on the market, paired with a SAS-TEC memory-foam component for impact absorption. The 3D-shaped seat structure is sized to mould to the pilot — the goal is to make hours in the harness feel like a sofa rather than a piece of equipment. The optimised ABS triangulation system trades off stability against handling deliberately, so the harness stays stable without going dead in the seat. Storage is properly competition-grade: 17–18 L back pocket, 6–7 L underseat, 6–7 L cockpit, 10–12 L of ballast capacity, and twin 6 L (S/M) or 7 L (L) rescue compartments for two-reserve setups.
