BGD Cure 2

The BGD Cure 2 is a fully reformulated EN C XC wing — 74 cells (up from the previous Cure), 6.4 flat aspect ratio, four sizes covering 65–122 kg, EN/LTF C certified. Built on a brand-new internal structure with a profile pulled closer to the Diva platform. The development brief was to lift performance without raising pilot stress — a sport-class wing aimed at pilots who fly to escape the noise of everyday life, not add more of it.

Cell count went up to 74 while the arc was reduced — same projected aspect ratio (4.8) as the original Cure, but a lower flat AR of 6.4. The result is a wing that climbs and glides hard but feels less aggressive than peer EN C wings. Top speed is 60 km/h with a quoted best glide of 11; full-speed asymmetric collapse behaviour is described as "incredibly calm" — important if you actually want to fly the wing on bar in active conditions. The new B/C steering system is light and efficient, designed specifically for fast flying without going on full effort. Cloth choice mixes Skytex 27 and 32 across the canopy with Skytex 38 on the top-surface leading edge for durability where it matters most. Trim 39 km/h, minimum sink 1 m/s. Riser layout is 3/4/3 main lines.
