Niviuk Roamer 2 P

The Niviuk Roamer 2 P is the lightest harness in Niviuk's lineup — 189 g in size S, three sizes covering 155–195 cm pilot height, EN certified to 120 kg. A string-style ultralight aimed at the most weight-conscious hike & fly missions, ski-fly setups, and adventures where pack volume and grams matter more than seated comfort.

Despite the bare-minimum weight, the structure is fully 3D-modelled — legs were lengthened and the back shape redrawn this generation to keep the pilot upright and stable, including with a heavy rucksack still on or with skis. Two reinforcement details set it apart: the rod-end seam carries an extra Hypalon layer at the Nitinol rod termination, which prevents wear and abrasion at the highest-stress point in the construction; and each Nitinol rod ends in a larger, tougher protective cap that holds the harness shape during movement, take-off and packing while preventing pressure concentration at the tip. The big functional change is the integrated IKS connector system: no carabiners required — the harness loops directly onto the wing through a single loop between IKS loops and leg loops. Saves weight, simplifies the rig, and keeps safety intact. Pilots who prefer carabiners can still fit them, the design just places them directly in the IKS loop.
