RAST and the reflex profile give rock-solid stability and control: on pressure loss the CORE section holds relative pressure while the BUFFER absorbs energy by deforming, and RAST stiffens the construction so some reinforcements can be reduced or replaced. Nitinol reinforcement backs the sharp 52-cell profile, which stores energy and releases it with precision for proximity flying. Compared to the MIRAGE 2 RS, which is steep, technical and trick-focused, the WAVE RS is the flow-trail wing: faster, flatter, rhythmic lines with a focus on style. Details include Dyneema webbing, hybrid risers with Fidlocks, and 3D-printed brake handles.
