Mac Para Eden 7

The Mac Para Eden 7 is the seventh generation of the Czech brand's flagship intermediate wing — 59 cells, 6.06 flat aspect ratio, six sizes covering 55–145 kg, LTF/EN B certified. Built as a semi-lightweight high-B (4.20 kg in XS), explicitly positioned as a top-of-EN-B XC machine — Mac Para themselves describe it as gliding "significantly beyond other EN B gliders". Quoted glide ratio 10+, top speed 50–52 km/h, minimum sink 1.05 m/s.

Aerodynamic detailing is unusually thorough for the class: new 3D shaping cleans up the leading edge, the RFE leading-edge support system maintains nose shape across the angle-of-attack range, mini-ribs at the trailing edge tighten the back of the wing, and a redrawn stabilizer shape cuts induced drag. Internal structure (panel shaping, diagonal system, line branching) was tuned to deliver canopy stiffness for active-air comfort without making the wing harsh. Performance riser detail: a C-riser stabilization and steering system that lets the pilot manage the wing on bar without releasing the speed system. Cloth choice is durability-first within the lightweight class: Skytex 38 Universal on top and bottom leading edge, Skytex 32 Universal across the rest of top and bottom surfaces, Skytex 32 Hard finish on profiles, diagonals and mini-ribs. Lines: Edelrid Aramid/Kevlar 8000U upper lines (50/70/90/130 kg ratings) and Liros PPSL mains. Risers are narrow Kevlar/Polyester webbing with Harken ball-bearing pulleys. Brake pressure is light to medium, ramping progressively in the second range — works well in strong cores. Available in three standard colour designs (Blue, White, Lime) with custom colours at extra cost.
