★ ★ ★ 14M BGD Seed in Forest color scheme (practice / kiting / ground handling wing) ★ ★ ★
Up for sale, a very lightly used BGD Seed Ground handling wing. I purchased this to get my kiting dialed; great training tool. It's not meant for flying, but only for working on your most important skill: ground handling. Located in Fort Worth, TX - Happy to ship anywhere in the world at buyers expense. I own an e-commerce company so I can get very competitive shipping rates if you're interested. Only ever handled gently on grass: no sand, no rocks, no water, no concrete. I obsess over my equipment and it was always stored in a climate controlled closet in the dark.
Great for a student wanting to get serious about ground handling or a school looking to step up training. Because it's smaller, it can be used in (slightly) more wind than you would want to launch - expanding your practice window. It's also fairly responsive so it really helps get your skills dialed. It really helped get me a lot more comfortable on the ground. I recently purchased a new (flight rated) wing and don't want to keep so many gliders in the closet: small house and new baby. Let me know if you have questions - I love this community and am happy to answer questions if I can. Pick up this dope glider right now at a fraction of the price new.
TLDR:
★ Presents like a nearly new wing. Includes: BGD compression Strap, BGD riser bag, and BGD main glider bag, Niviuk glider repair ripstop fabric tape. I did a thorough check and did find one little 1/8" (3mm) hole which I repaired using Niviuk glider repair tape (inside and outside the hole - see picture). I take care of my stuff; you won't be disappointed. Also... BGD wings are just so beautiful.
★ I'm not sure when it was manufactured but I believe it was 2021. You can likely contact BGD, but I don't know why it would really matter.
★ The YouTube Video Link is another pilot flying this glider.
★ Located in Fort Worth, TX. Price is maybe a little negotiable, but I'd rather keep it than sell it for much less than this. It really is a ton of fun.
