The wing was received in September 2024.
The wing is in excellent condition, flown for exactly 109 hours. No damage, no holes, no repairs, no sand, no water. Only flown from grassy alpine launches.
Meticulously cared for. Every single time packed carefully in concertina cell by cell along the whole chord (other pilots say they’ve never seen anyone pack a wing so carefully :D), always stored in stretched out concertina in dark and dry room. Never left at the sun before or after flight, never stored in a car. People who know me can confirm that I’m a gear nerd and look out for my equipment with the utmost care. This was my main wing, I used OXA ULS for hike & fly.
This Lyght was only used for long XC flights (3x 300km, 5x 170-230km). Average flight duration > 7 hours.
Fantastic wing. The best performance in EN C class. Very stable - I flew A LOT on full bar and in all these flights I only had a small tip deflation despite pushing so much - my average speed on 330km triangle was 33 km/h.
Now I believe I’m ready to step up to Zeno 2.
