Advance Omega ULS

The Advance Omega ULS is the ultralight 2-liner that won the X-Alps 2023 — Advance's racing platform for adventure pilots and demanding competitions. EN/LTF D certified, four sizes covering 65–113 kg, sub-3.05 kg in size 21 — that's 250 g lighter than the previous Omega XC. 63 cells, 6.8 flat aspect ratio.

Performance over the predecessor is up across the full speed range — the new profile delivers a better glide ratio at every point on the bar. Beyond raw numbers, the wing is set up to keep pilot workload low: lower control loads, very pleasant circling, and intensive testing tuned out the rough edges that usually come with chasing more glide. Ultra-light internal structure uses Sliced Diagonals — the X-Alps-evolved profile-fabric reduction approach Advance has refined over multiple racing campaigns. Nitinol wires give chordwise mass distribution from the leading edge across the top surface, dropping pack volume and weight while resisting deformation under heavy loading. Cloth choice is racing-grade light: Skytex 32 universal on the leading edge, Porcher Skytex 27 classic II on the top surface, Dominico DOKDO 10 on the bottom (compact, less vulnerable to damage from below), with Skytex 40/32/27 hard finish on profiles and tension tapes. Edelrid Pro Dry lines — colour-coded, length-stable, 60% better water repellency than the previous generation. Softlink DC 500 quick links instead of metal MRs further cut weight at the connection.
