Advance Success 5

The Advance Success 5 is a high-end seat harness aimed squarely at safety and comfort — the start of a new design series for Advance, with a fully revised look and a refreshed approach to back protection. Three sizes covering 155–202 cm pilot height, weights from 4.25 to 4.85 kg, EN & LTF certified to 120 kg max load. Designed for leisure and XC pilots who want maximum comfort with proper aerodynamics underneath.

Protection is the headline change. The fifth-generation Success carries an additional SAS-TEC element running the full length of the back, layered on top of comfort foam — paired with a completely redeveloped Main-Protector that has a noticeably higher energy absorption factor and 20% smaller pack volume than the previous generation. A foam protector and two additional foam sections cover the lumbar spine, with lateral SAS-TEC elements protecting thoracic vertebrae and pelvis. A hook knife ships included, stowed in a shoulder strap on a securing line — easy to see, easy to reach in an emergency. Comfort comes from the ergonomic 3D seat shell, which together with the protector layout, comfort foam and SAS-TEC supports the full length of the pilot's back without pressure points. The Balance Strap System is retained: as the pilot pulls their legs in after launch the strap geometry slides them back into the seated position automatically, and reverses for landing — a classic Advance feature that takes the manual work out of getting in and out of the harness. Sporty, lean silhouette with a clean look that holds aerodynamics tighter than older sport harnesses.
