Gin Verso 4

The Gin Verso 4 is the fourth generation of Gin's reversible harness — sub-3 kg in most sizes, EN/LTF certified, with rucksack volumes from 60 to 65 L depending on size. Built around an airbag protection system and an optimised structure in high-tenacity fabrics, it's aimed squarely at hike & fly and travelling pilots who want one piece of kit that works as both a flying harness and a real backpack.

The new ABS geometry is the headline change: the way the harness reacts to weight shift and turbulent air has been retuned for better turn precision and more passive safety in rough air, with increased roll stability and smoother feedback from the wing through the seat. The airbag itself was reshaped — quicker inflation, higher pre-inflation level on take-off so protection comes online earlier, and better-held aerodynamic shape under load through turns and turbulence. Clip-in is simplified with fewer connection points: less time fumbling, less chance of mistakes, friendly for newer pilots while still meeting the security standards experienced pilots expect. The rucksack is now treated as a primary feature, not an afterthought — fully redesigned, ergonomic, roll-top, with multiple compartments including bottle holders, zippered pockets and side access. The big functional change: the rucksack is fully detachable via a discreet but strong zipper system, so you can leave it behind for tandem flying or when going minimal, store it separately, or replace it on its own down the line.
