Swing Connect Reverse 3

The Swing Connect Reverse 3 is the third generation of Swing's reversible harness — now in four sizes (up from three) with refined geometry per size, weights from 4.3 to 4.8 kg, max payload 120 kg. LTF/EN 1651:1999 certified (LTF 91/09; type approval EAPR-GZ-0879/18) with an LTF NfL II 91/09 multi-chamber airbag protector and an integrated reserve container under the seat board (right-side handle).

The headline carry feature is the Deuter "Alpine Back" carrying system — Swing partners with backpack specialist Deuter for proper hiking-grade carrying comfort, which is the actual differentiator on long approach hikes. Four sizes instead of three means tighter geometry per pilot, with carabiner distance scaling 37.5–48 cm in S/M and 37.5–51.5 cm in L/XL, and seat suspension height stepping from 43 cm to 48 cm. Reversing function is simplified vs. the Connect Reverse 2; rubber retractors hold the foot accelerator in place; integrated holders for trekking poles. The protector itself is a multi-chamber airbag with deployment spring, and the optional Lightshield back protector adds upper-back protection — together they form what Swing call "protective armour" around the pilot's back. Designed to harmonise specifically with Swing's RAST glider generation (Nyos RS, etc.) — comfort balanced with enough agility for active flying.
