UP Trango X

The UP Trango X is the latest in UP's long-running Trango platform — 65 cells, 6.47 flat aspect ratio, four sizes covering 65–125 kg, EN/LTF C certified. Built around a 2.5-line layout (the architectural compromise that brought the Trango series from straight 3-line into the modern era) and inheriting performance work from the Trango X-RACE. Sub-4.1 kg in size S.

Development brief was to keep the core Trango character — handling, stability, thermalling feel, climb performance — while pushing performance further than the X-RACE. UP's tech stack on the wing covers Gen-X (Generation-X Airfoils), D3D (Double 3D panel shaping), N3D (Negative 3D panel shaping), MRS (Mini Ribs), AIT (Air Intake Tension lines), FSS / RSS / BSS (Front, Rear, Bottom Surface Support), OLS (Optimised Line Scheme), BTS (Brake Tension System), ATB (Accelerator Tie Ball) and HPR (High Performance Risers). 198 lines total including brakes — well-controlled count for a 2.5-line EN C with 65 cells.
