Gin Bolero 8
关于 Gin Bolero 8
The Gin Bolero 8 is the latest generation of Gin's long-running EN A school wing — 36 cells, 4.8 flat aspect ratio, five sizes covering 50–130 kg. The redesigned profile and refined internal architecture make this version noticeably more homogeneous in feel than past Boleros, with better pitch and roll damping across the span and improved collapse resistance, so the wing stays composed in turbulence and gives students a stable platform to learn from.
Despite the school-wing brief, the Bolero 8 has more in the tank than its category suggests — glide and climb support first XC excursions outside the training site, not just sled rides. Launches benefit from a new EPT system and updated rod configuration that hold the leading edge and nose shape consistently across angles of attack: clean, predictable inflations, the canopy comes up overhead and sits there without surging, and pilots get repeatable take-offs with predictable movements. The reworked arc gives playful, permissive handling that stays efficient even in light air, and the optimised brake pressure and increased brake travel make stall points easy to identify and thermal cores easy to feel out — exactly what a learning pilot needs. Certified weight ranges are wider on this generation, so each size covers more pilot types, which simplifies school fleets and lets a single size serve a broader range of students without giving up handling or safety.
优势
- New EPT system and rod layout — clean, repeatable inflations with no surge tendency
- Better pitch/roll damping and higher collapse resistance than past Boleros
- Surprising glide and climb for an EN A — pilots can keep using it for first XC steps
- Long, well-defined brake range with clear stall warning — easy to learn the wing safely
- Wider certified weight bands per size — simpler size choice for schools and progressing pilots
